Chandra may be a social and easy to talk to person, but its surprising how little friends he actually has. His life is pretty busy and hardly constraints to a routine, so he doesn't really have time to sit down and get to know people. He likes a bit of competition to spice up his life, so declaring yourself his rival is a good way to start. His only real friend is Surya, who seems to be his best friend. The quickest way to become his friend is through Surya because of this. If you are aiming to take the position of best friend, you've got a pretty heavy competition with the scalebro, unfortunately.
For those who break the barrier and become his friend, you will have a friend for life. He is always possitive and ready to help a friend in need, though he also likes to tease and taunt sometimes.
Like Chandra, Madeline doesn't have a lot of friends. There aren't a lot of children her age to talk to, and she tends to be so far in her own little world, she can be hard to approach. She never has honestly sat down and thought about making friends with an actual other human before. Her dream friendship is to have a best friend who is a dragon, and her imagination seems to be content with that being her only friend.
However, if you tagged along for her adventures long enough, she will begin to acknowledge you as a friend. She will become reliant on anyone who helps her with her endeavors and can be a bit clingy and bossy, but the adventures they will have together are worthwhile. Its not that easy to get into this category with Chandra.He is one to forgive and forget. Holding grudges just seems very petty to him. He doesn't really like aristocratic people, but he won't hate them either. He tends to get quickly annoyed by people who whine and complain a lot as well. Anyone who badmouths his family or background, including his older sister, is marked as an enemy. Like with being his friend, the quickest and strongest way to become his enemy is through Surya.
An angry Chandra is a rare and terrifying thing. He is passive, not a pacifist. If you push him too far, he will give you the beatdown. No if, ands, or buts. He seems to be content in doing that, and afterwards he will just avoid and ignore his enemy. Very rarely is there a round 2.
Who in the right mind would go out and try to be enemies with Maddie? Even if you have beef with the kingdom, she is just ten! Mady's anger might be an explosive and humorous dramatic thing, and it seems like she will be mad at you forever, but her childish mind doesn't dwell on such negative things. She doesn't like anyone who doesn't agree with her father by default, though. She tends to avoid people she doesn't like, and can sometimes be rude and mean to them, but as stated earlier, her anger isn't set in stone enough for someone to be her enemy.
Chandra's romantic history is very uninspiring. He just doesn't seem to be into the love game right now. Taking care of his little sister, worrying about his little brother,being a dragonrider, and practicing/performing for the town takes up a lot of time. His romantic preferences are very vague. Just someone who can keep up with him and spice up his life maybe. They will have to be persistent though, because like in friendship, Surya tends to be a big obstacle. Their bromantic relationship is way too strong. Don't ever expect him to treat you as well as he treats his dragon. Also, Surya can be a bit of a jealous type, so the competition is really strong in this field.
If you are trying to make a move on Maddie, I have to seriously question your morality. Of course, there could be some light and fluffy things with someone around the 10-12 year age (*cough*fckenamada*cough*), but otherwise this category is currently locked for her. If you are an adorable little kid who has the hearts out on the princess, be warned. It is a long and dangerous battle, just like in games like mario and zelda. Maddie is a very busy person who is constantly up to no good. You will have to be there through thick and thin. What do you get out of it? Nagging. Maybe some cake that she smuggled out of the kitchen. Tea parties. Dress up. And maybe one day if you work really hard, a kiss on the cheek.
If the king ever finds out, he will have you jailed. *I'd love for someone to create Chandra's siblings one day *I'd love it even more if someone made a sidekick/best friend/crush for Maddie using this cutie.I will even make you an avie and template and everything. ( look they already have ship art. Bonus points if you go all the way there and give him this guy) *Chandra should also really have a rival. A playful one or a doucy-jerk/pokemon rival one.Either one would be fun. And a mini one for Surya: About With all his flashy colors and bold eyes, Surya is actually a very laid back and chill dragon. He can get a little heated during a competition and showy while performing, but outside of that he stays pretty modest. Like Chandra, he tends to be on the jokey-side, though his humor has a tad bit more class. He can be snarky and crude, but he doesn't say any ill will towards people.
Surya is a bit less active than Chandra. That being said, becoming his dragon friend is a lot easier. So long as you don't wake him up when he is sleeping or be a bully towards other dragons, you are already halfway there. The other have is just talking to him and not being an uppity jerk. While his friendship is quick to form, its also cheaper in worth. Surya feels dragons are pretty self-sufficient, so unless the dragon is young or incapable in any way, he is reluctant to lend a hand, especially if he is resting. Still, he is protective of his friends and will bravely and quickly rise to the occasion for them when situation is dire.
Unlike Chandra, Surya doesn't like competition. He feels that Chandra has worked hard to get where he is and is the best at what he does. No arguments. To try to tell him otherwise will get you blacklisted. The dragon can hold a grudge and be very petty, but will not engage in a battle unless something is being threatening toward Chandra, not himself. Dragons that are full of themselves tend to annoy Surya much more than chandra is annoyed by prissy people. He seems to save all of his sharp tongue for them and will snipe at them relentlessly like a mean teenage girl. |

AIGHT SO i've only got damien right now but let's see what we can do eh? of course he's mady's father so i just wanna have adorable father/daughter threads with her! and i'm sure she's kinda sad that he's more into running the island than spending time with her, but he's going to make things up to her by taking her on lots of trips and flights with ereneth!
as for chandra, i could see damien taking a liking to him because he's pretty much like a big brother/father to most of the people on woodkeep. maybe he even told the senior instructor to consider chandra as the junior before he was picked? idk, it just seemed like a good idea~

Being a rather adventurous little girl, he would be surprised if he asked her what she had been up to. It would be funny to see his reaction to her answers. THE KING AND THE FERAL Now that I look at the app, the old king actually died around the time Chandra's sister decided to wreck Keep Town and was caught. I could imagine that something rather cruel like she was put to death or jailed for life happened, and Chandra and his siblings became something like a social pariah, so there was some high tensions. Maybe Chandra became an official dragonrider but no one actually intended for him to shoot up in the ranks if he showed promise rather than watch him for potential threats to the kingdom. Damien probably saw that he was being purposefully repressed and demanded that he was allowed the same opportunities as any other student, thus giving Chandra a chance and making the boy forever loyal to the king. is that too much?Anyway, if we went with that story, I'm sure there could be some threads of Chandra fanboying over the king and telling him how things have been going for him. |

I think we should thread these two! Because they're the same age and opposite gender LOL SORRY. They might end up as friends, but I don't know maybe enemies because both of their dragons seem to be really jealous and they both love their dragons more than most people so I don't know maybe friendly rivals or something and maybe one day romantic interests or not depending on their dragons lolololol
Or I don't know maybe the opposite happens and both dragons get along because they have a sort of grudging respect or something man I don't know I'm just throwing words out here lemme know what you think ahaha I still think they should thread just because thread are fun. |

*Flies in* Whoo~sorry I am late to reply (by my standards). Thursdays tend to be a bit hectic for me. This one just kinda spilled into Friday. I made the thread for Maddie and her dad earlier. If you need a link to it, it is here. As for Valarie and Chandra, I would think they would get along very well when their dragons aren't being so needy and over-sensitive lol. With both being in the higher tier and the same age, its very likely that Val can probably contact Chandra easier than most people. I think threads with them would be hilarious. They would be playing all nice and friendly while the tensions between their dragons would be rising every second. Chandra would probably realise that it was pretty lame that they have been working together-ish for so many years and he hardly knew anything about her and try to talk to her. Thats when they find out that dragon friendships are like people friendships some click in a good way and some click in a bad way. |

SKY & CHANDRA: Alright so I just had a thought, but in reading things I'm not sure how plausible it is. Basically, Sky has always wanted to fly. Her dragon is not big enough to carry her weight in flight yet (he's only a two year old babu). However then I read that Chandra's dragon doesn't like Piggyback Rides even if that would be the quickest way to Sky's heart. Just tossing that idea out there to see what you think and if it might inspire something for you!
SKY & MADDIE: This one will be addressed later, but I think Damien is going to get Sky to be Maddie's babysitter, since the little rascal sneaks off to the roost often and Sky knows her way around the roost and all. Plus kingy-boy has her wrapped around his fingers via blackmail. >.>

Sky and Chandra Oh no, this thread idea definitely works. While Surya isn't a fan of piggybacks, both are very passionate about flying, so hearing Sky's desire to fly would be enough for Chandra to talk to Surya about it. With enough begging from Chandra and Sky if she decides to join in, they would convince Surya to do it just this once. (read:every time). But Surya is a sassy dragon. It definitely wouldn't be a romantic ride. He would probably try to pull a couple of stunts just to scare her, but Chandra would be there to make sure it wasn't anything too crazy...or at least he thinks thats what him being there would do...>>;; Sky and Maddie Oh yes. I've heard of this. I'm looking forward to it too. Maddie is a wild and crafty girl. She would probably use any tactic she can to lose Sky, from logical arguments, to bribery, and even just flat out running. But I'm sure once she realises she is stuck with her, they can start to get along from there. Sky might end up even being her first friend. what a sad and lonely girl. |

SKY & CHANDRA: Oh it wouldn't be 'romantic' anyway. Sky would basically be fangirling out. Whether or not she would take well to Surya's stunts is another question, something we'd have to experience, but basically if Chandra takes Sky for rides he's seducing wooing her. >.> But anyway, my eternal shipping aside, we also have to add in the Lyroth factor. Ly was born a runt and was touch and go for a while. He's actually big for his age now due to random growth spurts, but can't fly yet. But the fact that he was born a sickly runt makes him competitive and jealous, so if Surya's taking Sky for rides he's going to get huffy about it.

RIVALS? I HEARD YOU WANTED A RIVAL FOR CHANDRA. TBH it's kinda sad because Siham is already a long established rider who knows her dragon isn't built for high-speed, delicate aerial maneuvers, but maybe something could happen that she interprets as a challenge to her and Durrah's flying? And she's not the kind of person to very kindly or graciously just let that go, so she'd push the significance beyond the limits of what's even considered reasonable.
Add or subtract things? I'm up for anything with this. |

You are the perfect candidate for you, SIHAM YRONWOOD, I could see why you would want to rival him. Not only is he a showoff, but you have 5 years experience on him yet he is a junior dragon rider. What kinda BS is that stuff? Sometimes you have to let them know that when you have a crown, you need to guard it yo. I feel like that is enough of a reason for her to just walk up and randomly challenge him out of the blue. It would be hilarious, really. Did I mention Surya just can't get along with other dragons. |

RIVALS CACKLES YES. That set up is very much workable, and Durrah likewise has fairly low regard for most other dragons that aren't stronger than she is. If you'd like, she's got an open you can jump in. You can decide if it's a "oh my god its actually that dude I hate" kind of thing, or if the rivalry happens after that thread. |
