+Eidetic Memory :: Rune has the ability to absorb absolutely everything no matter how important or not-so-important it may be without ever forgetting a single thing.
+Knowledge Seeker :: Rune is open to learning, grasping at every bit of information that she can get her hands on.
+Innocent :: Despite her age, Rune still holds an almost child-like innocence about everything. She's so innocent, she may as well just be naive.
+Wanderlust :: Whether it's because she holds no memory or maybe its something poking through her shell, the girl finds herself wandering around both nearby and far away. It's like... an instinct.
+Open :: Rune does not lie. It's almost like she's incapable of such a feat. With that in mind the girl is probably the only person who will ever tell her story with a straight face, only if asked though.
-Soulless :: Her memories are locked deep inside along with her original personality, now she's almost like a husk. There's almost no life shown in her eyes.
-Overly Observant :: Now being observant isn't bad... unless it's Rune. She goes up and beyond to the part of being almost like stalker, recording everything 24/7.
-Rigid :: Somehow, one way or another; the girl just can't be snapped out of her routines. It's just impossible.
-Intimate :: And not in the good way, Rune has absolutely no idea of what personal space is. In fact, she's sooner to go up to someone and start poking them rather than just sit and observe.
-Reckless :: Its almost idiotic how Rune manages to get herself into dangerous situations...

history
Now whether or not Rune is native to Woodkeep, she wouldn't be able to tell you. She was found on a beach by a few farmer kids who had thought a sea adventure would be a great idea. Little did they know that they'd find some random ten-year-old all torn up and collapsed against a rather uncomfortable part on rocks, still alive. Quickly they ran to get help, coming back with a doctor who then hulled her up to his home and workplace. It was there that Rune woke with no name, idea, or even a hint of being a normal human being. She was like a doll, completely empty except for a small spark of curiosity. The doctor couldn't figure out if it was simple amnesia or something much more seeing as how the girl had forgotten how to even speak.
During her process of regaining what knowledge she could, which was very little; the girl made a few friends despite her inability to talk at that time. The farm kids who had found her earlier had befriended her. They were all boys and often poked at her, trying to get the poor girl to go play with them. Of course Rune hadn't a clue of what that even was. Taking that into account, the boys would teach her words. They would drag her out despite the Doc's words of warning into the wheat fields and even into town. One of the boys lived within the town, his family poor like the two farmer kids. Rune could remember that he had many siblings, how many she didn't know at that time since she could not count. Still, they played with her, the old and young alike.
She did not know her name so the doctor gave her one: Rune. Named after his deceased sister who had once been a veterinarian. Of course Rune didn't quite grasp the meaning until much later, long after she had been adopted by the Doc. Despite his many pleas in her called him 'brother' or his name or even 'father', Rune always got stuck on calling him 'Doc'. Even so, she was not an unhappy child despite her gloomy nature at first. The girl was a curious soul, recording everything in her mind in fear of forgetting more. Going to dangerous heights such as poking some poor rider's dragons when she first saw them (amazingly she felt no fear), before going to gather up samples in the most terrifying of places like sheer cliff sides and deep dark caves that looked inhabited. Somehow the girl always left with little more than a few scratches and bruises, one time she managed to break her arm when a bear was set on her but Rune still managed to get away.
It was probably out of fear that the Doc had almost forced Rune to sit still long enough for him to teach her to read and write, all the lessons were absorbed as quickly as they were given. She was taught the way of medicines which, much to the Doc's relief; calmed her searching spirit. Thankfully it lessened her crazy attempts at researching, he even made sure to emphasize that she should never prod any carnivorous creature no matter how docile they may seem. Alas, the girl only heeded that on occasion when her lust for knowledge didn't get in the way. Which happened rarely mind you, her interest in the strange being's called 'dragons' what similar to that of cat's on a fleck of light. She always did find them to be a rather unique species.
