  female - twenty - pansexual - dragonrider - applicationfriends Friends are an easy one for Sky. She's a very outgoing person, having no trouble approaching others and socializing in general. Her charisma and wit make her fun to be around, approachable and often the center of attention. However GOOD friends are a bit more rare, as she keeps herself rather guarded against connections, afraid of what might happen if anyone got close enough to know her past. That being said she spends all of her free time between training and the tavern, so there's plenty of opportunity to approach her, and she left quite an illustrious career behind, so there's easy potential for people of that life to recognize her. enemies Sky has a lot of baggage, and she knows if she were to get on the bad side of anyone she would be an easy target. Because of this she tries to avoid making enemies, but it's rather unavoidable at times. Not to mention the fact that in order to rise and become a successful pirate captain in the span of a year she had to step on a lot of toes. She could easily be spotted out by someone from her previous life if she ventured to the wrong circles, people she might have stepped on or left behind when she quit the business. loves Sky lived for most of her teenage years as a pirate, a well respected and successful one at that; to say she still has her virtue would be a blatant lie. That's not to say she's left a trail of broken hearts in her wake, though, as that aspect of the life was merely dabbled in as a pubescent curiosity. Now, however, as she turns over a new leaf she finds herself surrounded by attractive men (and women) and her heart is wide open. OKAY SO I WAS THINKING.
VALARIE WAS HELD CAPTIVE BY PIRATES FOR MOST OF HER LIFE.
SO LIKE.
WHAT IF SHE RECOGNIZES HER? AND THIS GROWN ASS WOMAN IS TERRIFIED OF HER.
But like secretly terrified because she knows "ohh no she's obviously not a pirate anymore so I'm probably okay..." but Sky probably wouldn't have any idea who Valarie is because she wasn't really allowed to talk to anyone but the crew of the ship she was on. Maybe she just kind vaguely recognizes her as a pirate ally's deck hand slave person or something.

oh my god i just had the best plot idea ever. what if she's like hanging out at the tavern and damien comes in and everyone's like 'heyyyyy' and he's just generally liked by everyone and he sits by her and offers a drink on him and she's like 'nooooo go away i'm not a booty call' but when he laughs she turns and sees its the KING and she just blushes and gets all awkward like 'oh SHIT IM SORRY THATS NOT WHAT I MEANT' and then he'd just laugh it off and whatnot.
...we don't have to do that but i just had that image in my brain and i loved it /shot

SKY & VALERIE: OH GOD It'd have to be someone Sky might've worked with while she was a pirate. The reason Sky became a smuggler was because she didn't have the heart or stomach for the more inhumane stuff. But if Sky ever found out Valerie recognized her she'd have a panic attack! But I love it! 
SKY & DAMIEN: butwhatifshewasabootycallthesweetpiratemistressoftheking! She'd freak out if she found the King in a tavern, especially as a Dragonrider herself. She'd be like 'OIJGIOJSDFOIJHSDOJG MY LORD', so he'd probably have to talk her down to make her relax or something. XD

Haha that'd be fine! Even if she did recognize her it wouldn't be a full recognition, just one of those "oh lord is that one of the pirates I think that was one of the pirates what if she's here to drag me back and make me leave and and and" and then they can both have panic attacks together like Valarie is all like "no plz I dun wanna go back" and Sky would be like "oh god please don't tell anyone" and then they share stories over a pint but Valarie is always kind of secretly scared of her, or just nervous around her or something idk ;w; |

SKY & VALARIE: So basically the two of them are always nervous around each other. I imagine it'd be Valarie at first, but if Sky ever found out about Valarie's past she'd be able to make the connection that the reason Valarie's awkward around her is that she recognized her, and the two can constantly meet and shuffle their feet and stuff. XD

i really just want that to happen oh man xD he would be dying of laughter while she's freaking out in the corner LOL but no seriously he would see her potential as a dragonrider fasho. part of me wants him to know about her past but that would up to you. he tends to guard the island relatively well so it's possible he knew about the egg abductions but since he knew they were taking duds he decided to see if one day her conscious would give in to the fact that she was doing something wrong eue

SKY & DAMIEN: No, actually that'd be great. I was thinking about how she could've gone completely unnoticed in her turn-around, especially showing up out of the blue. Maybe he knew and just sort of pulled some strings to keep it all quiet since she's working so hard toward redemption and all. Especially since she didn't have the stomach for actual piracy. :3

Makes full sense to me haha and it's not like they could just avoid each other since Valarie teaches newbies how to fly on their dragons and stuff. . . so they'd have to interact at some point as Sky's dragon grows and stuff haha. |

UGH REALLY YES OKAY. i was thinking that like...damien saw sky stealing from the first night she did it, but he knew she was only pulling the duds so he didn't ever let himself be known to her. he kind of made it a thing to watch for her and her crew when they came to the island, so that if she ever took eggs that WEREN'T duds he'd be able to stop her. but as far as he knows, all her eggs were in fact duds so really she's got nothing to worry about. then again, who knows if they really were or not?
maybe one day he could call her to his office in the castle and just sit her down like 'i know who you are' and they could have plots from there owo

SKY & VALARIE: PERFECT! Especially since, despite haunting the taverns and having a good time, is one of the hardest working among the fledgling dragonriders, the two would definitely be forced to interact and probably frequently. Now the question there is
WHEN DO WE START!
SKY & DAMIEN: Oh god Sky might as well change her last name to Red if that ever happens. She'd have a mini panic attack, lose all her wit and probably just end up groveling at his feet for forgiveness before he gets any other words out of his mouth. IT MUST HAPPEN!

Now I was wondering how I could throw Rune at Sky and I had a thought. Now Rune and Sky are complete opposites in both appearance and personality, what if Rune was attracted to Sky's white hair or something random and just start pulling and tugging like 'how interesting, it's of a silvery color and yet this lady looks no older than me' or something like that. And then she'll notice her dragon who is purple and just start getting all sorts of physical contact. Not to mention Sky is one of the riders with the younger types of dragons so maybe Rune could just like be all scientist on them and completely ignore both their protests. And with Rune being an amnsesiac you could even say that Sky may have met her before in the past or something since they're close in age and all. Up to you really. What d'you think?

SKY & RUNE: Actually looking at how close their age is and stuff gives me an idea. Before having her heart ripped out, stomped on, kicked through the mud and otherwise left in a state of disrepair, Sky was a normal young girl, and Rune was discovered a few years before Sky disappeared. What if Sky was among the young'uns who discovered and rescued Rune? And now she's back after several years of disappearing with a dragon and training hard as a dragonrider out of nowhere. :3 Thoughts?

Actually that may actually work. But since I put that the ones who discovered Rune were all boys she'd have to have mistaken Sky for a boy back then. I think that works, Rune would just be like '...Who are you?' before realizing that she was one of her friends from back when who went missing. I can just see Rune make groping hands goin' all '...You're a woman? What? I need to confirm this.' Not to mention after she finished torturing Sky, Rune could instantly go to the dragon and just be like '... are you a girl too?' She'd be so gender confused afterward hehehe.

SKY & RUNE: You raise a good point. Easy solution, too. Maybe Sky wasn't among the boys themselves who discovered Rune, but was part of the group of friends she hung out with afterward. Mainly because I don't think Sky was ever gender ambiguous, she was a pretty prototypical young lady. x3
