Sky just pursed her lips with a bashful laugh. "Yeah, he's basically a voice in my head, directly in my mind. It makes it somewhat difficult to focus on his voice and your voice at one time since they're from two different sources," she explained pretty matter-of-fact, knowing Rune preferred to know as much as possible. It saved her from any theorizing or asking further questions down the road on the matter, anyway.
She straightened her back, then, readjusting her posture. Stormy eyes looked around the Sands for a moment and she nodded back to Rune. "There wasn't much time for herbs where I was," she chuckled in response to the nightshade comment. There were some herbs used by the pirates, mostly tobacco or other pipe grass, poisons, seasonings and other such things were an entirely different realm. There was no apothecary or herbalist on the ocean. If you thought a pirate had a poisoned blade it was probably just bacteria because they hadn't cleaned the blade properly in some time.
Sky had always made sure her cutlass was pristine.
"I should get back to my duties. I'm still a trainee so if I spend too long not standing around looking attentive I'll probably get in trouble," she mused lightly. Her spot had been left unguarded for some time as the two of them had chatted. Truthfully she was merely a few feet away, but if the wrong person saw she had stepped away to talk with someone she could get in trouble. Nothing would happen, they were too understaffed in the knights to actually punish anybody, and she volunteered for as much duty as they would give her anyway, so they couldn't throw more at her. No, she would just get a tongue lashing but that was something she wanted to avoided if at all possible.
"I'll find my way down to see you and Doc tomorrow around mealtime, alright?" It wasn't really a question, more just making sure Rune would remember. But then Rune remembered most things pretty well. "And I'll make sure Lyroth comes and behaves his best."
No you won't.
Sky let that comment go unanswered, not wanting to be even more rude by conversing with Lyroth through her conversation with Rune or just straight up ignoring the girl. "See you then."
